Wait, It Wasn’t Obvious? [09]

Dear Diary,

Well, I remembered how I really died. Yes, there’s more to my death. Also, Kanade’s going to be our enemy again, but it’s totally dif­fer­ent this time.

So the day after “more hug­ging” star­ted with me by Kanade’s side, wait­ing for her to wake up. The other SSS mem­bers talked about how she might wake up as a cold-hearted killer like her clones. Come on, the odds are 1 to 100 (since appar­ently that’s how many clones were made). Only an anime would have her wake up as the nice Kanade. Wait a minute…

While wait­ing for her to wake up, I went into flash­back mode to kill time. I learn that I didn’t die…immediately at the train acci­dent. You see, I actu­ally was fairly okay and helped every­one out. Hav­ing the most med­ical know­ledge, I became the leader. Oh, and I’m bleed­ing intern­ally. Don’t worry. I’m the prot­ag­on­ist so I won’t die until I save people. After a week, we’re all almost dead. I decided to write that I would like to donate all my organs once I was dead. Every­one, inspired by me of course, did the same. Sud­denly, light appears and we’re saved! Oh wait, I died first. Dang it.

After I exit flash­back mode, I saw Kanade was awake. What luck! She’s the nice one! She says its a mir­acle that the nice ver­sion of her came out. Pfft. It was totally my power of hug­ging that saved her. She then revealed to me the reason she did everything  was because she wanted every­one to live a ful­filled youth. Wasn’t that obvi­ous? Not to me. Not to Yuri. Not any of the other SSS.

I get her back as pres­id­ent and con­vinced Kanade to be our enemy again. Oh and hey, Yuri! Are you going to have more focus now?

So after all this, what the heck will hap­pen between me and her?

Thoughts

So Yuzuru’s real death is finally revealed. Okay, now I’m much more hap­pier with his past. At least he got to help some people out. I find he is very admir­able in the train situ­ation. He’s able to stay col­lec­ted for the most part and self­less. It was also very nice of him to donate all his organs, and I loved how every­one did the same. We know he’s going to die, but it was still sad to see it. It wasn’t “ZOMG TT____TT” type of sad though because of how death really doesn’t have any effect on this series.

Kanade’s going to be their enemy again? Let’s see: Kanade, Naoi, Kanade-clone, and Kanade. Want to go talk to other SSS mem­bers and just say “Hey, we should just live ful­filled lives here!” or some­thing? No?

Also, was I the only one who went “aww” when Kanade called him Yuzuru? Just curious.

Since Yuzuru decided to try to help Yuri now, I hope we get more focus on her. We haven’t really had an epis­ode focused on her since epis­ode 2 I believe. And Kanade gets all these epis­odes about her. Yuri’s a main char­ac­ter too, you know.

Eh, my thoughts feel kind of bor­ing this week. Maybe it’s because not much happened. Sure, we got to see Yuzuru’s real death. We got Kanade as pres­id­ent again. That’s it. Watch­ing the whole flash­back, I kept won­der­ing when they’d just die already. I’m not a big fan of flash­back epis­odes, so this felt just okay. It was sweet, but I really wished more happened. The pre­view doesn’t seem to make the next epis­ode appear too inter­est­ing as well. I’ll just wait and see.
