Today is the first time you see Soul Eater on Anime². I don’t like to start not from the beginning, but reviewing past 30 episode isn’t something for me.
Soul Eater is great, if you didn’t knew. An original drawing style, very fluid animation, good camera points. With the 31th episode we finally have a new OP. Though I liked the old one more.
Medusa, now a little girl, contacts Crona (who’s a girl, didn’t you knew that?). Crona just made friends at Shibusen, and now her mother tells her to betray them.
Maka and Crona are really good friends.
… As suddenly…
… A cute girl appears. I mean, she is cute while not doing…
… This! Scary little Medusa!
The new character Justin gets a new mission, but we do not know which yet. Maka’s father’s playing the translator now: Shinigami-sama (who’s lips are hidden under a mask) -> Justin.

Marie-sensei is cute, too
Medusa wants Crona to place a spy tool in Stein’s house, so Stein’s madness increases. She want Crona to use Marie-sensei’s kindness.
Don’t drink it!!!
After placing one of Medusa’s snakes in Marie-senseis’s body, Elka and others can listen to what is spoken in Stein’s house. And Crona can’t get on with herself.
If Stein wants privatsphere he now needs an Enigma. And Elka is cute, don’t you think?

The next episode is going to be about Excalibur, so as I find him very annoying I’ll wait for the after next episode asap.

Shinigami’s face is not hidden under a mask — he has no face to begin with and uses the mask as his expression.
I can understand why they want an Excalibur filler, the anime is moving quite fast while keeping true to the manga, so an intermission is still good, even if only for one episode.
