So that tourney thingie

Long time no see, ladies and gen­tle­men! I was and still am really busy with TheColorless.net, and that added onto school (or the other way around pri­or­it­ies are import­ant) just doesn’t leave enough time for blog­ging. But I’m truly miss­ing it and as soon as I’ve seen some­thing I could post about without hav­ing to watch anime (which is also sec­ond­ary for me at the moment) I star­ted writing.

So this Anib­log Tour­ney, with Scamp as the leader. It’s… inter­est­ing, but the idea is not new really. For example, the back-then-still-Anime² par­ti­cip­ated in the Battle Of The Blogs (and won), and what they have in the Tour­ney is abso­lutely the same prin­ciple just exten­ded with rounds.

As I have under­stood there will be no review­ing, just vot­ing, so just like par­lia­ment polling and unlike the OEG (R.I.P.), that’s not some­thing you look at. Res­ults are inter­est­ing though (not in par­lia­ments, but in the Tour­ney) because as Scamp stated at the begin­ning the goal is to dig up good, but earlier unnoticed blogs. The flaw is that unnoticed blogs won’t have enough loyal read­ers to vote for them… But hey, it’s not like it’s ser­i­ous fuck­ing business.

Any­way, We Love Maids will be up against Deus ex Mach­ina on the 4th day of March, so whet your blades, loyal read­ers >:‘|

    I heard about some Anib­log tour­na­ment thing going on but I had no idea I was in it! Only after I fol­lowed a link refer­ral to this post was I enlightened.

    The bracket looks pretty loaded with lots of dudes I know and some pretty big play­ers, so bring it on, I guess. You’re going down! :P
