Mag­ni­fi­cent story­board and fluid anim­a­tion, fla­voured with a good por­tion of inter­est­ing music done their job. I devoured all cur­rently aired 13 epis­odes at once.

Very fluid anim­a­tion, and very good look up from Naus­icaä. An A+, guys!

It’s an enthralling adven­ture, act­ing about a boy named Akiy­uki, who was turned into a Xam’d, a strange humon­oid creature. To avoid turn­ing into a stone he must leave his home and his fam­ily and go with a mys­ter­i­ous girl from a post ship.

There are many dif­fi­cult intrigues, with the mil­it­ary, with the par­ents, and with the girl Haru, who’s in love with Akiyuki.

Haru is very beau­ti­ful drawn.

You can ima­gine many par­al­leles with Miyazaki’s films like Naus­icaä and Laputa, some­times I feel also Howl’s Mov­ing Castle. The creat­ers must love Miyazaki’s work.
