Koko Ni Iru Yo! — 19 [END]

The end­ing I wasn’t hop­ing for but happened anyway

Nagareboshi have finally released the last chapter of KNIY trans­lated (though when this happened, it got licensed). I just had to give my thoughts on the end. As you can obvi­ously tell, if you haven’t read the last chapters yet, you will be spoiled. I won’t bother going on sum­mar­iz­ing it because this is for people who read it or never plan on read­ing Koko ni Iru yo. When Hik­age said she real­ized who was her sun, I went “Uh-oh” because now she’s going to pick someone and I had a feel­ing she would pick Hinata over Teru. Why? The fact that she was going to chose Teru before just because she was forced. I could tell she really didn’t want to. That made me sad. Don’t get me wrong. Hinata’s nice and fine. He’s really sweet and good for Hik­age. How­ever, I wanted her to end up Teru. She’s really helped him out a lot, and he helped out her. Teru and Hik­age look really cute together too! (Okay, that’s not a valid reason). Still, Teru and Hik­age would be a nice fit as well. Time for who she picked. … My reac­tion: Not a happy reac­tion. How­ever, I accept that Hik­age chose Hinata. It makes sense, and they do go well together. How­ever, I will con­tinue to love my ship. Now that Hik­age is with Hinata, I sort of wished Teru got a girl of his own. Or at least meet someone else or have it hin­ted. But my mind changed after this: It’s super cute that Teru is still try­ing to get Hik­age! I want to see more of this. It’s just too cute. Okay, Teru can find another girl to be with, but I want to see more of this for like a bazil­lion chapters. Okay, not bazil­lion, but you get the point. Now onto Aoi. Gah. I loved the oneshot. Hik­age was super cute in the begin­ning when she was freak­ing out about Aoi ask­ing her for rela­tion­ship advice. The whole chapter was cute. When I saw that there was a Mega­Pig chapter, I was afraid of that they would be and he’d fall for her too. But that didn’t hap­pen. Instead, we get a cute story about him and his crush. Aoi telling her that he loved her seemed a bit too soon though. I mean, really, who knows what love really is any­more with people throw­ing it around all the time? Koko ni ru yo was a cute series, and I’m def­in­itely buy­ing a volume or two when it comes to my near by Borders.
