About

Who are we?

‘We love maids’ (former Anime²) is a Japan-centered blog, consisting of several anime addicts (see more under ‘Authors’). We care to entertain you, and perhaps even guide you — if you trust our opinions on anime.

Why ‘we love maids’?

Because we do. Girls in French maid uniforms are very attractive, given that those girls are attractive. Note: not because maids are obedient. They aren’t. You confuse them with slaves.

History

‘We love maids’ (Anime²) was founded on 26th October 2006 as a fan site with another name — Gargron was a fanboy of a not-enough-to-be-called-anime american series that time, so it’s truly shameful to admit that the name was ‘The Avatar Temple’. We changed thousands of webhosts and site names since then, as well as a lot of blog themes (which Gargron made himself, just so you know). And like it, Anime² reached the ‘now’ just so you can waste your time reading this.

Our authors

We are five at the moment — Gargron, Aizen, Llora-chan, Ammy and NanoPulp. The man behind the correction of little mistakes is Shion963, our editor. If you want to write a guest post for the blog, check out the Write for Anime² page.

Our mascots

The mascot of ‘We love maids’ (Anime²) is our maid Nagahara Aiko. To learn more about her go to the About the mascot page. Being designed by Gargron, she is under our copyrights, so no copying without permission please. Fan art is allowed and appreciated though.
